Governance Program 2024 Applications closed

Applications for Autism CRC's Sylvia Rodger Academy 2024 Governance Program have now closed.

Previously delivered in 2019, this Program is available to all autistic adults living in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand who are interested in taking a role on a board or other governance body, such as an advisory council, and would like to develop their knowledge and skills in corporate governance.

Participants in the 2024 Governance Program will explore topics including board director duties and responsibilities, risk management and strategic planning, financial literacy, and effective governance. The Program also provides an opportunity to complete a board observation and to network with other participants and current board directors.

Applications closed Friday 26 April.

Who can apply?

To apply for the Governance Program, you need to:

  • identify as autistic
  • be aged 18 or older on 26 April 2024
  • live in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand*
  • be willing and available to participate in all Program activities, and
  • have an interest in
    • contributing to organisational decision-making
    • developing skills and practical knowledge in corporate governance
    • networking with autistic people interested in corporate governance and current board directors.
