Hayley Clapham

Research Assistant

Hayley joined Autism CRC in November 2022, as the project officer for the Self-Advocacy@Work project.

She is a passionate advocate, dedicated to advocating for the rights, needs and interests of disabled people, and has worked on a number of projects with local government council and organisations including Women with Disabilities Australia and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network of Australia & New Zealand.

Hayley has a passion for co-production and participatory research, having been a part of several autism research advisory boards and project teams at the University of Queensland, University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University.

She is a graduate of the Autism CRC Sylvia Rodger Academy Future Leaders program and the Research program.

In addition to working at Autism CRC, Hayley is a research assistant at Macquarie University and studying a Bachelor of Psychology at Edith Cowan University.
