Call for Nominations: Autism CRC 2025 Awards open!
We are excited to open the call for nominations for the 2025 Autism CRC Awards for Achievement in Autism Research! The annual awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in inclusive research and research translation that exemplify Autism CRC’s vision, mission and values.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Awards, we are introducing a Student Award (Honours, Masters or PhD) for the outstanding nomination received in either category (research or translation).
Who can apply?
The awards are open to all researchers and organisations conducting high-quality autism-related research, regardless of location or whether they are affiliated with Autism CRC.
Award categories and evaluation criteria
Inclusive Research Practice Award
- The research is methodologically sound.
- The research is based in community need and demonstrates impact or potential for impact.
- Autistic individuals and other relevant end-users* are fundamentally engaged in the design, conduct, evaluation, and reporting of the research.
Translation of Autism Research Award
- The translated outputs are founded in evidence from research.
- The outputs have delivered demonstrated benefits and measurable impact in practice or policy.
- The translation process clearly engaged end-users* in design, development and delivery.
*End-users are those who will directly benefit from and/or directly apply the outputs, outcomes or results of the nominated project.

2024 Award recipients
Last year's awards recognised three projects for their exceptional contribution to inclusive research practice and the translation of autism research.
