Mothers on the Autism Spectrum: Parenting Stress and Family Outcomes

Published May 2019
Abstract
Much research exists on the mental health and well-being of parents of children on the autism spectrum, however parents who are on the autism spectrum themselves have received little attention in the literature. The aim of the current study was to compare parenting stress and family outcomes in mothers who do, and do not, have a diagnosis on the autism spectrum.
