This document comprises two parts:

1. guidance for engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander autistic people and their families/supporters
2. guidance for engaging with autistic people with high and complex support needs, and their families/supporters.

It was developed to provide practical, community informed guidance for engaging with these groups within the autistic and autism communities in ways that authentically reflect their diverse voices. Its overarching aim is to build on existing knowledge and capabilities to support deep, respectful engagement with members of the autistic and autism communities who are underrepresented in research and practice development activities.
