There are four areas that the research team has identified impact inclusive education for autistic students. These four areas are:

  • pedagogy and teaching/education approaches in learning spaces
  • physical environment
  • student experiences
  • collaboration, connections and leadership.

In each of these areas, the research team is using systematic procedures to collect and analyse published research studies. The aim is to identify and evaluate current research literature and use this to build a comprehensive base of evidence to inform the development of the National Guidance.
